The Role

We are on the lookout for a dynamic QA Manager to spearhead our Quality Assurance team. This pivotal role involves managing both automation and manual QA engineers, ensuring the fusion of management acumen with hands-on technical expertise. As a QA Manager at LucaNet, you will not only manage and mentor your team but also actively participate in technical discussions, perform code reviews, and understand the intricacies of manual testing processes. What you'll do

Team Management: Direct and mentor a diverse team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and innovation.
Testing Strategy Alignment: Develop and align comprehensive testing strategies across LucaNet, ensuring uniformity in standards and processes for both manual and automated testing.
Hands-On Technical Oversight: Engage in code reviews and possess a strong ability to read and understand code, particularly in Java, Node.js, and .NET, to ensure the highest quality of software development.
Framework Enhancement: Advance our automation framework to support continuous testing, integration, and delivery, with an eye towards efficiency and efficacy.
Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality, compliance, and regulatory adherence in all software products.
Continuous Improvement: Spearhead the charge in process improvement, incorporating best practices, and keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in German at least to the B1 level, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within a diverse team environment.

What you bring to the table

Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading QA teams, with a strong emphasis on both automation and manual testing.
Technical Proficiency: Solid programming skills in Java, Node.js, and familiarity with .NET. The ability to perform code reviews and understand the technical depth of testing strategies is essential.
Testing Tools Expertise: Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or JUnit, with a preference for experience in Playwright.
Industry Experience: A minimum of 4 years in test automation and quality assurance, with a comprehensive understanding of software development processes, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD.

Ausrichtung der Teststrategie: Entwickle umfassende Teststrategien für LucaNet und sorge für einheitliche Standards und Prozesse, sowohl für manuelle als auch für automatisierte Tests.
Praktische technische Aufsicht: Beteilige dich an Code-Reviews und bringe dein Verständnis mit ein, Code zu lesen und zu verstehen, insbesondere in Java, Node.js und .NET, um die höchste Qualität der Softwareentwicklung zu gewährleisten.
Framework-Verbesserung: Entwickle unser Automatisierungs-Framework weiter, um kontinuierliche Tests, Integration und Bereitstellung zu unterstützen, und achte dabei auf Effizienz und Effektivität.
Sicherung der Qualität: Einhaltung der höchsten Qualitätsstandards, der Compliance und der gesetzlichen Vorschriften bei allen Softwareprodukten.
